Olivier Houben is a partner of V4G.
A lawyer by training, Olivier Houben started his career in September 1993 in the Tax Department of Arthur Andersen. In September 1995, he transferred to the Business Consulting Department where he specialised in strategic marketing assignments.
From September 2000 through October 2003, Olivier Houben has been working for Promedia, a VNU company and the Belgian Yellow Pages publisher, as Marketing and Channel Manager, in charge of a team of product and channel managers.
As Marketing Manager, he was responsible for business development and the marketing of all electronic platforms (off-line & on-line, directory assistance, emerging platforms) and products (electronic ads, rich media, e-commerce, segment specific solutions).
As Channel Manager, he helped steer the switch of the Promedia sales force to a multi-product, multi-platform, segmented organisation.
Within the European Association of Directory and Database Publishers, Olivier Houben is active within the Organising Committee in charge of the Annual Conference on (electronic) Directories, where he has been a speaker on several occasions.
