Frédéric de Laminne is an associate of V4G.
Frédéric de Laminne studied at the University of Liège (ULg) in applied sciences. He holds a Master degree in Business Administration from Cornell University (New York) and a certificate in international tax management from the Solvay Business School (ULB).
Frédéric de Laminne spent 15 years with Generale Bank (Fortis Bank) mainly in the « Corporate & Investment Banking » department where he hold a variety of functions (financial analyst, financial engineer, commercial, …) and was involved in a number of transactions : IPO, M&A,…
In 1999, he left the bank to launch E-Capital, a €35 millions Venture Capital fund backed by some 50 Belgian entrepreneurs wishing to support young promising companies.
In 2003, Frédéric de Laminne moved to Euronext as « Head of Listing » where he was responsible for the relations with listed companies and with IPO candidates. He was involved in the launch of two markets dedicated to SMEs : the Free Market and Alternext.
Frédéric de Laminne was part of the Working Group of the Lippens Commission that wrote the Code on Corporate Governance and he is a guest lecturer at the ULB on Corporate Governance.
Frédéric de Laminne co-authored several books on the financing of SMEs : «Les PME et la bourse», «De KMO’s en de beurs», «Le Marché Libre», «De Vrije Markt» edited by Euronext.
